I am so sad right now that I'm not sure what to say. This will be a brief post (can't get all emotional at work, can I?).
So, T and I are getting a 'divorce' and she's moving out at the end of this month. We decided this because of our inherent differences in how we approach relationships. We still love each other and, as such, we are being very amicable about it. We're retaining joint custody of the 'kids'. Poor dears, they're going to get shuttled from one house to another.
In case anyone wants to know, it's been five and a half years.
Well, so that's that.

5 and a half anything is a long time. break ups whether amicable or not are usually pretty hard. *hugs*
Ouchies, breakups bite the big one no matter what. I've been there more than I care to admit. One thing that is bit of comfort is realizing things don't have to last forever to be meaningful. :)
My longest relationship was about 5 years. And 8 years later he's one of my best friends. Like a brother in a sense.
