I'm a survivor...

In case you haven't noticed I put up this nifty countdown - thing on my sidebar. I'm moving it to this post (because change is good). Next year will be my ten year anniversary of being cancer free. That is big - HUGE - because I'm a survivor... (I can't say that without thinking about this song.)





I don't really need to go into many details, but I'll tell a bit. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer when I was 18. I had the surgery, had radiation (NOT chemo), and was done in a summer. I have to take medicine every day. I have a bitchin' scar on my neck that looks like a necklace. I don't have any pictures or I'd post.
