Dear, it's 4:30 in the morning, what do you want me to say?

Not sure how this weekend is going to go, I'm looking forward to it, but we had a small issue last night.

T called me at 4:30 AM (I know!) and, when I said I was wondering why she was calling me at 4:30 in the morning, she got all mad at me. Here's the story:

T was supposed to go out to the local Drag show, but she took a nap from about 8PM. She was going to call me when she was getting ready or on her way out. I never heard from her. I just figured she never woke from her nap since she was really tired. So, when I finally went to bed around 1, I just texted her goodnight and such, because I didn't want to wake her up. I actually texted her at 12:30, to allow some time in case she was up and she just forgot to call (not very likely). Well, then she called at 4:30. I tried to explain it out (what I said), but unfortunately, my wittiness is not so good anyway, and at 4:30AM, when I've been woken up, it's crap.

This leads me to think two things. First, she was just plain upset because she called and wanted to talk to me and maybe she thought I would be super happy to talk to her (I was, but I was also asleep). Second, and more insidiouslly, she was out, forgot to call me, and got mad at me to cover it up so I couldn't ask her if she went out. I really don't believe that it's the second, I promise, but the first one seems so improbable. I don't get it. Why be mad at someone when you wake them up? (she did say that we always talk about calling the other one, no matter what time it is. If that's true, than give me some time to wake up and be coherent...)

Anyway, I hope this doesn't impact our weekend. We didn't get off the phone too nicely, but we are also good at moving past things like this.

Well, it seems that there was some misunderstanding on both of our parts. To start off with, T thought that I was going to call her when I was done with my writing and I thought we had agreed that T would call me when she was getting ready and/or on her way out. T did end up going out and she was just calling me to talk to me. Anyway, we worked it out and everything's good.
