Hor-o-scopes*
I was looking over my layout, as I am wont to do, and I realised that I have less than 1 month until my anniversary AND the end of OKMG in it's current form.
Then, I looked at my MySpace horoscope today and this was one-half of it (I'm on the cusp; I usually look at both, but one almost always fits better):
Capricorn (Dec 22- Jan 19)
You are coming into the home stretch of a marathon and even if you are tired, keep in mind that the race is not quite over. Even if your mind is in on the future, bring your attention back to the present moment. You have business to finish and everything can become very intense as you come down to the finish line. Don't worry about who will win or who will lose. Simply stay singularly focused on your immediate goal.
How do they relate?
Well, it's just a reminder that I need to re-focus on this relationship and doing those little things that make Tara feel special. Certain things have become normal (like making her tea and offering her things - just more about thinking about her), but I would like a few more things to become normal. I am finally stepping out of this funk and now I am starting to want to do those things again.
More imortantly, though, it also reminds me that I cannot be lazy. I promised myself and Tara that I would always keep up with OKMG (pre-funk, of course)- that was one of the stipulations for her agreeing to move forward together. Now that we're doing that, I need to keep my promise...
