Me, Myself, and I

As an update, I haven't made any movement on the personal front regarding hanging out with folks by myself (although, I did get an offer by Sky to call. Speed scrabble, Sky?), but I have been doing my own things by myself.

Mainly, I've restarted my novel. Nothing major, just refamiliarizing myself with the characters, tweaking some of their histories. I transposed some of my written notes onto the computer last night. I haven't actually started writing the story, though. But, it's all good, I'm writing trashy romance, which is character-driven anyway, so this stage is crucial.

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier. I'm not much of a social butterfly and I get along with me very well (Kind of an important thing when you hang out with yourself. Could you imagine if I didn't like me?). But, it would seem that I need to push myself more to get out there and socialize without Tara.

I'm working on an extensive set of New Year's Resolutions for 07, really more of a life plan, and I am going to put a section about this. I'll post them once I get the list all ironed out.

It's a bit complicated, but I think you'd like it. You don't use the board. Everyone takes their 7 (or more) tiles. Then you say "go". The person who arranges the tiles into words in the crossword form says "go" again. So the goal is to have your crossword done before everyone else. You can rearrange the tiles as often as you need to, but even if you are not done making words, you have to grab if someone says to.

IT's really fun!
