Mid-week update

I'm working on the creative titles, but it just ain't happenin' right now.

Belly dance class was GREAT yesterday. I was super excited to go, especially since last week's class was cancelled. This is *def* the best type of exercises if you want to tone the tummy muscles. My stomach is shaping up very nicely, thank you very much. My new challenge for the week is to learn belly rolls. That's where it looks like the belly is rolling up and down, like in this picture:

Yeah, that's difficult...

I haven't walked as much as I originally wanted, but I'm still doing it. Once Monday and once today. I'm sure that I can keep it up. Plus, the weather's been so nice around here - except for that arctic blast of 50-something we had yesterday (hence, no walking).

i can actually do belly rolls. and the hula. i've had NO training. can't figure it out either. i've heard though that doing exercises like that helps out alot when you're in labor.

good luck. be careful with the exercises. i've hurt myself doing too much too soon before.

OK, so why aren't you doing belly dancing? Huh? I keep harassing my gf to go, but she's intimidated with that whole looking butch thing.

You are on the money about not hurting myself. That;s why I'm happy with this class b/c she is teaching proper form. When I was doing the video learning, to was a lot harder to get it right. Thanks!
