Weekend progress on the life goals - relationships *Updated*

I pretty much suck at keeping in touch with the distant fam. I had the best intentions - I even set my phone alarm. But, did I call anyone? Nooooo. At least I thought about it. So, now I know that I need to set the alarm for a better time than 12 noon on a Saturday. I'll figure it out, I have time. Plus, there's always next weekend. My mom and I are making forward motion, though, so at least that's good.

I did pretty good with OKMG this weekend. I made Tara lunch yesterday and, while it didn't work out as planned, it still looked good and she appreciated the effort.



We went out on Friday night; I had fun, but I must say dancing is not a good idea for someone (i.e. Tara) who just had foot surgery! We watched some L-word on Saturday - Thanks Myles for the early preview (HA-HA bitches, I've already seen up to episode 6! [No, no, really, I'm just a humble girl...] Let me tell you, this is the best season, so far.). We hung out with friends on Sunday for dinner, which was cool, because we haven't seen them in a while. We just need to be careful about hanging out with others too much, because that was part of our problem before. Same subject, different subject - Tara and I haven't had a major fight/"discussion" in a while, so the tension level is waaaay down. I must say that I am lovin' it.
