OKMG #1
Action:
Last night, I bought some roses from a guy on the street. (She really thinks that stuff is sweet, but I think the roses are poor quality, which is why I never buy them. In addition to the low money factor.) I wanted to wait until we were alone, so I stuck them in our plants outside. A few hours later, I told T that the plants had knocked over and could she please go fix them. It took her a minute, but she found them.
Response:
She was surprised and a bit mushy (not crying, but you know that feeling when you get all lovey-dovey and go "Aw, that's so sweet," and really mean it - that's what she was feeling.)
It's not much, but, like I said, her standards are really low - my fault, I know.

Hey! Tada! Blogroll started...you're on top.
I went on a date last night and it was the bestest ever yet really cheap. Mostly walking around and chekcing out free art galleries, old buildings, and stuff like that. Played Pacman. Ate burritos ate some dive Mexican place on the cheap. Got coffee. Read me a story he wrote. I'm kinda dorky so he ran with it and we had fun.
Think about things she likes and find variations on that. Flowers? I love them. My fav gift ever is a huge black and white photo blow up of a single rose. I still have it 5 years later. Versus live flowers which die quick. See?
How about a picnic? Grab a bottle of wine for like (whatever, $5-?) and go watch stars with her. Put strawberries in a container. Then you can get her drunk, feed her strawberries, and um...have fun kids! Cheap yet sweet, no? And lots of oppurtunity for naughtiness. Or seriousness. Everyone wins!
Congrats on beating cancer!!!
Hey, your turn to link me back btw.
Once, I rasterbated a picture of a Dali rose for her. She loved it. I made it real big and plastered it on the wall.
I did that picnic thing once for her. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to ruin things like that though, b/c when she asks "Isn't this so romantic?" I ususally say no. So, first things first - always answer yes!
LOL Thanks for the ideas Red!
